National Account Manager - 6-month initial contract with potential for extension

This role can be based from anywhere in the UK, However you must have a driving licence and be willing to travel

The Team

Who will you be working with?

The National Account Manager working for Brook Street, you will join an already successful team of 6 National Account Managers whose primary focus is to secure, develop and retain opportunities from our key strategic frameworks, and develop relationships with key external and internal stakeholders to deliver profitable business. This role will involve working with one of Brook Streets Key Public Sector clients initially, with opportunity to support further clients in the future.

The Role

So, what will you be doing?

Business Development

  • To identify and increase business opportunities through day to day communication with departments and client including meeting with Key stakeholders face-to-face to educate and promote our business.
  • Ensure enough marketing and branch activity to meet the Departments fulfilment requirements
  • Continuous improvement and further business development of the account to ensure retention and growth
  • Maintaining the revenue and Gross Profit of the Client, ensuring all additional revenue opportunities are taken and manage the implementation of projects and new services. Projects may include Pay Reviews and legislative / compliance changes
  • Conduct regular quality assessments to include quality of service of temps and applicants to Client

Training and Development

  • Providing ongoing coaching and support to operational teams and Implementing effective team building and motivational ideas
  • Support fulfilment of all roles and attend BM/Branch Meetings if required
  • Ensuring internal communications are updated in-line with Client's technical specifications

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Company, client and legislative requirements
  • Comply with the Company's Business Ethics and standards of excellence
  • Co-operate with regular audits to ensure compliance

Financial Results

  • Monitor and communicate financial and performance targets and actual performance achieved both as individually and collectively within Operations
  • Adhere to contract terms in relation to fees, margins and payment terms
  • Prepare monthly and annual forecasts for client and identify and advise in action areas likely to affect profitability
  • To check and send MI to the client on a monthly basis
  • Action effective controls in line with BS ISO 9002 standards

  • Experience of using data and trend analysis to inform future sales strategies
  • Articulate communicator, developed negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Works in a systematic, structured way, plans and manages own time effectively.
  • Track record in delivery wins and profitable business across Group frameworks
  • Upholds the group values and behaves with integrity towards clients and prospects
  • Makes rational commercially sound business judgements from available information.
  • Good understanding of public sector
