An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our Global FMCG Client TIGI, are currently seeking an Account Manager, based in Scotland working both remotely and regionally. This is a full-time Maternity cover, temporary role for 12 months, 37.5 hour week, paying up to £39K salary plus commission, per annum, pro rata.

JOB PURPOSE
The varied and fast-paced role of Account Manager is responsible for a diverse portfolio of salon-on hair brands including COPYRIGHT COLOUR and CARE, BED HEAD, BEDHEAD FOR MEN, and TIGI EDUCATION. This role is responsible for driving sales and increased market share in the territory. TIGI's brand mission is to be 'By Hairdressers, For Hairdressers' and the Direct Channel selling directly to salons, is a key focus in TIGI's strategy for the UK & Ireland, differentiating the company from competitors by providing superior customer service and linking salons to TIGI's world-class education and Creative Teams. The TIGI business is a creative hub delivering insights in to the professional hair-care industry as part of the fast-growing personal care category. Working with a well-known Creative and Family brand and working alongside driven and creative individuals across all areas of the business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ DELIVERABLES

Achieving targeted sales goals and delivering bottom line profitability

Achieve monthly and quarterly turnover targets through effective management of existing account base and conversion of new business.
Using relevant reporting systems provide accurate forecasting for month and quarter.

Reporting regularly to the Divisional Manager on sales performance and productivity of the territory. Identify opportunities, explain gaps when necessary and generate solutions for additional turnover.

Contributing to/delivering promotion, activity and NPD distribution plans
Using factual data and market insights, provide robust, creative and honest feedback on proposals for
promotional and product activity and analysis of promotional effectiveness to TIGI marketing teams.
Ensure strong promotion of TIGI to all salons via monthly promotions, staff training, merchandising and effective business planning.
Contribute to and attend regional/national meetings, training sessions, trade events and shows as directed by the Country Leadership Team.

Manage and develop relationships with customers and prospects
Connect with all managed accounts every month to undertake reviews and create and manage Joint Business Plans where possible. Ensure a very high standard of service delivered to all customers.
Operate a productive and effective journey plan, having identified key customer relationships pivotal to the division's business.
Develop and convert new business opportunities via face to face and virtual means to increase salon distribution base.
Working with the TIGI Education Team support salons with effective education to drive loyalty and conversion.

Administrative and Financial responsibilities
Ensuring salon debt is collected in line with company expectations.
Reporting on sales figures, account activity and competitor activity when requested.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Required
5+ Years sales experience including Direct B2B and experience in hair, cosmetics, beauty.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with different people from varied backgrounds via face to face and virtual.
Analytical mind-set, able to analyse and interpret data, competent in use of reporting systems.
Financial understanding, proven ability in forecasting, communicating results and managing budgets.
Target driven with the hunger, willingness and passion to succeed.
Team player who will encourage cross-functional collaboration with an ability to also work autonomously and proactively in the field with reliability and honesty.
Works well under pressure with proven time management and prioritisation skills.
I.T literature, competent in use of Microsoft office.
Competent in use of social media to connect with customers and engage and convert prospects.
Must be comfortable with travel involved in field management.
Business consultant added value approach to account management.
