Woodwork Machine Operators

Manpower are currently recruiting for Woodwork Machine Operators for one of our clients in Grangemouth.

Shifts will initially be Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 with the opportunity of overtime.

We are looking for an experienced Wood Machine Operator who will have experience in using CNC equipment. You need to set up machines such as drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, and planers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine finished work pieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth of cut, verify dimensions, visually using rulers, calipers, templates, or gauges.
• Start machines in the morning, adjust controls and make trial cuts to ensure machinery is operating properly.
• Install and adjust blades, cutter heads, boring-bits & sanding-bits.
