£26,000 - £28,000 + 20% shift premium.

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has now arisen for a Die Casting Process Technician to join their team and play a key role within the castings department. Reporting to the Die Castings Process Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining die castings processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring all machinery is operating efficiently. You will also be involved in the creation of process documentation and ensuring the output of production meets the required volume and quality.

In an ideal world, you will have already possess process experience from working within an aluminium die casting facility however, this role would also suit the following types of people:

  • An aluminium Die Caster, who is looking for the next step of their career.
  • A Process Technician from an alternative metal processing background.

Regardless of where you come from, you will be thorough and well-organised by nature, and be comfortable working within a fast-moving industrial environment. You will also be happy to work a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.

My client is offering a competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,000, dependent on experience, along with a 20% shift premium and excellent benefits package, including 25 days holiday per year, attractive pension, death in service and critical illness scheme. They are also happy to provide a relocation package to anyone living further afield, who will need to relocate for this role.
