Business Development Executive - Recruitment

The role:

The Manpower Driver Academy is a unique program designed to solve a real industry challenge that is affecting majority of logistics companies across the UK. We are facing a critical HGV Driver shortage that will have a severe knock on effect to the way goods are moved around and the wider road haulage sector.

As a Driver Academy Consultant, you have the opportunity to take this already proven solution to market and introduce the program to clients.

Our clients include SMEs, Large National Accounts and Global organisations. Your contacts will likely be in the transport, operations or HR team and you will be expected to reach out directly to present yourself and the Driver Academy.

Recruitment is based around good relationships and networking. It is vital you work hard to develop your knowledge and understanding of the industry to increase your confidence and credibility.

Your profile:

A keen interest in the logistics, supply chain, transport and/or road haulage sectors.

You will have an entrepreneurial mindset and be proactive in your sales approach with a real desire to grow the business, develop your skills and the Manpower brand.

Collaboration both internally and externally is key to our long-term success, you will be able to work alone but have a strong team player ethic.

Full training will be provided on our services as well as the logistics sector and you will have the opportunity to learn from a team of experienced road haulage experts.
