Graduate Media Developer (Web)
Location: HMS Collingwood
Purpose of role
You will deliver high quality training support (media development) in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.
You will be required to support the Deputy Manager (FTU), ensure that media produced by the FTU is of the required standard, continually improve the way they contribute to the business, ensure that they are best equipped to support future change, ensure that they work in an effective collaborative manner with MoD staff, displaying the appropriate behaviours at all times and be responsible for the adherence of Babcock policies and procedures within the FTU.
You will produce media for FTU courses in accordance with Courseware / Media production process, Development manual and FTU Style Guide
You will also Identify and implement best practice in all areas of Graphic Design, Multi-Media, Photography, ensuring compliance with MoD regulations and procedures including DSAT and JSP 822 and adherence to Babcock policies and procedures within the FTU
You will ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times
Required skills, experience and qualifications
You will require a degree level qualification or demonstrable track record in media design and delivery as well as experience in developing technology based design solutions (e-learning, multimedia) and understanding of web design standards, responsive design and UI / UX design (essential)
