Job Details
Manpower are currently recruiting for experienced 3.5T Multi Drop Delivery Drivers for our client based in Crayford, Kent.This is a Temporary Position and to start on a immediate basis please only apply if available immediately on a temporary basis.
About the role
As a Multi Drop Delivery Driver, you would will be responsible for making timely deliveries and collections on your pre planned route, making sure all customers parcels are accounted for and first class customer service delivered every-time. You will be required to complete a local round covering DA, ME, BR and SE postcodes and must be confident to drive in all areas.
All drivers will be expected to complete around 80 - 100 deliveries a day and be prepared to work in all weather conditions weather come rain or shine. You will start your day by loading your provided 3.5T long wheel based vehicle and completing vehicle checks to ensure any problems are reported to management straight away. You will be required to use hand held scanners ensuring all tracking information is kept up to date so customers are able to view when their estimated time of delivery is and supporting colleagues back at the depot if any orders need to be re routed.
Our client delivers parcels up to 30Kg so heavy lifting will be required!
Working hours across Monday - Saturday with shifts available between 8am - 8pm
£10.50p/h weekly pay
About you
Organised and efficient, you'll have a Full UK Manual Driving License and Experience in driving a 3.5T Long Wheel Base Mercedes Sprinter or similarly vehicle. In an ideal world your licence would be clean, but it definitely shouldn't have more than 6 penalty points.
This is essentially a short term temporary assignment with the possibility of extension but can end at anytime, Manpower act as a temporary employer on behalf our clients, all applicants will be subject to DBS applications and additional client compliance requirements.
