Finance Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Financial Analyst based at their prestigious facility in Kingston Upon Thames (at the moment working from home, then once covid restrictions are lifted at least, 1-2 days based back in the office) This is a full-time temporary role for 6 months, and to start ASAP working a 37.50 hour week. This role is paying between £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

Main Job Purpose:

The main purpose of the Finance Analyst Employee experience is to support the leadership team and act as a finance business partner to both the VP and Directors. Enabling them to unlock value through both strategic and operational interventions. The role is responsible for both short and long-term performance planning and reviews. The role will cover the full range of performance activities, leveraging the information sets provided by the FET to forecast and drive gap closing discussions, as well as driving interventions to unlock value. As a learning experience, this job gives a detailed understanding of the operational processes underpinning U/L's interactions with employees whilst at the same time providing exposure to the digital capabilities used to unlock efficiencies. Key contacts fall into two categories: firstly, those within the Employee Experience teams, who are based globally across the markets and secondly senior stakeholders across the Finance community in the wider business who access and pay for these services.

Key Accountabilities:

Key role as strategic Finance Analyst for transformations: Business case preparation, Scenario modelling & evaluation Rigorous and challenging scrutiny over costs and benefits, and interventions on project performance Financial lead on contract negotiations development with 3rd parties Lead financial business case development, Cost modelling, including treasury and tax considerations Point of contact for Employee experience Leadership team ensuring ongoing performance management and target delivery as well as identifying and delivering value opportunities. Monthly performance management cycle Quarterly forecast cycle and resultant gap closing activity Support of Annual / multi-year financial framework Experience & Qualifications Decision support / business case modelling Strong financial fundamentals along with solid business partnering skills Experience in process changes & improvement initiatives is desirable Experience of working in multi-national teams and/or a virtual team environment The role also requires strong supplier facing skills and may interact with external service providers.
