Maintenance Technician - Days

Manpower is recruiting a Maintenance Technician with our client who are a leading local employer in the food sector.

Day shift Mon to Fri

You will join a small maintenance team working in an automated warehouse and packing facility, mostly on high speed conveyor systems.

We are looking for a relevant Level 3 qualification in engineering/ mechanical/ maintenance with experience working on mechanical systems.

Experience with automated systems is desirable

The Role

• Maintain conveyor systems and other mechanical machinery on the site
• Assist with upgrades, installations and improvements
• Reactive and preventative maintenance on equipment
• Fault finding and repairs on equipment
• Help organise essential spare parts and stock

What we are looking for

• Level 3 qualified in related discipline - Mechanical/ Maintenance/ Engineering
• Experience working on mechanical systems
• Fault finding ability and can take corrective action efficiently
• Some experience with automated systems is desirable
• Can communicate well and work in a team
