Manpower Are looking for Quality Technician for our client based in Swavesey due to growth. This role will suit someone who is looking the next step in their career. As a Quality Technician you will be in responsible for department carrying out coatings, heat treatment and servicing.

This job will initially be based around departmental operating hours of 06:00 - 16:00. It may become shift work in the future.

Key Activities...

  • Contract review, aerospace incoming and final inspection, component testing (visual, hardness, coating adhesion & thickness, mechanical testing)
  • Authorise release of documentation (secondary contract review, process confirmation, certification)

  • Internal auditing (experience of AS9100, NADCAP checklists preferred but not essential)
  • Drafting process control plans and data sheets
  • Process troubleshooting and non-conformance management (8D preferred but not essential)
  • Communication with customers

What We Need From You...

  • Attention to detail
  • Be able to work well both individually and in a team
  • Posses the ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Good communication skills via phone; email and in person
  • Keen to develop and learn
  • Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP requirements preferred but not essential
  • Q-Pulse and Navision / MS Dynamics experience preferred but not essential
  • Understanding of technical specifications and engineering drawings preferred but not essential
  • Understanding of technical specifications and engineering drawings preferred but not essential
  • Working knowledge of problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, 8D)
  • English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above
