Manpower is recruiting a Recruitment Administrator to work for our valued client.
Job Summary:
- You will be a key member of the HR Department and will carry out administrative functions to support the successful running of the Recruitment Department.
- You will be responsible for administrative systems, processes and provide a comprehensive recruitment service to the organisation to include extensive use of internal systems, NHS jobs and various spreadsheets and databases.
- Responds to requests from internal and external stakeholders for a range of information relating to recruitment. Provides advice and guidance referring to Recruitment Manager or HR Advisors as necessary ensuring a high quality customer experience is maintained at all times.
Main duties:
- Acting as a point of contact within the Recruitment Team providing day to day guidance and signposting to the most appropriate resource
- Work within strict deadlines to ensure all paperwork is processed promptly
- Maintain internal staff records including recruitment, personal and employment details.
- Prepare and place adverts in numerous locations
- Prepare and send shortlisting and interview packs to Recruiting Managers ensuring information is accurate and timely
- Support with interviews as required and provide feedback to successful and unsuccessful candidates
- Prepare offers or employment and statements of Terms and Conditions of employment for new starters.
- Complete pre-employment checks ensuring adherence to organisational policy ensuring the information is correctly completed, timely and verified.
- Escalate issues regarding completion of pre-employment checks to the Recruitment Manager
- Dealing with routine correspondence i.e. distributing incoming mail and franking outgoing mail
- Maintain all job descriptions ensuring that they are correctly formatted and accurate
- General adminisstration
Essential requirements:
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy - educated to a minimum of GCSE standard with English and Maths, Grade C or above.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including word, excel, outlook
- Administrative experience
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude to work demands
- Flexible and adaptable team player in order to support the team in ensuring rota team cover is maintained
This is a temporary position for 3 months.
You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, the hourly rate is £9.92.
