We are proud to be working with Calor Gas in Lee Mill Industrial Estate to recruit additional Production Operatives to join our expanding team based in Ivybridge.

THE ROLE:

Working for one of the UK's leading utility companies you will join a large team of friendly and professional like minded Production Operatives. After your training and induction, you will be working within an industrial setting, on a production line, filling gas bottles and following set work instructions coupled with health and safety procedures. You will be required to carry out safety checks before and after filling. This role involves a large amount of manual handling tasks, with part of the role being based outside, under shelter, in all weathers. Uniform and PPE provided.

ABOUT YOU:

Candidates will preferably have experience in working in a production environment, although full training will be provided and experience isn't essential, however you will need to have good numeric and communication skills. You will also be able to follow verbal instructions, use your own initiative and have the ability to adhere to strict safety rules in a responsible manner. Due to the location of the business and the lack of public transport in the area, candidates will ideally have their own transport or live close to site.

The Basics

£9.50 an hour with an overtime rate of £14.25 an hour

Monday - Friday with Saturdays paid at overtime
