The role is for a Mortgage's Collections Advisor heavily based around Customer Service. So if you're a motivated people person with a passion for providing an amazing customer service, there is a great opportunity to join our clients Collections & Recoveries team.

As a Mortgage's Collections Specialist, you'll be supporting valued customers who are experiencing financial difficulties, and providing expert guidance to deliver positive outcomes, while you work in an area with significant scope for career progression and talent development.

As part of their dynamic contact centre where there's never a dull moment, you'll have an integral part to play in supporting customers who are in financial difficulty, helping them when they need it most by offering professional guidance around a range of options and support to meet their needs.

What you'll do...

As a vital member of the Secured Collections and Recoveries Telephony team, you'll provide a broad spectrum of options and support to customers in financial straits, and bring to life our goal of returning them to financial health. You'll achieve this by offering professional and technical guidance to lead to positive outcomes.

Accurately and with empathy you'll listen and gather information from customers, and carry out a needs analysis to understand their true financial position and the root cause of the financial difficulty. You'll then be equipped to negotiate financial solutions that suit both the bank and the customer, matching processes and products to meet our customers' needs.

What you'll bring..

We're looking for someone who has experience working in a customer service environment, and has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a positive attitude. As a highly self motivated person with excellent communication and negotiation skills, you'll be creative and flexible in the way you work with colleagues, and able to demonstrate genuine empathy with a customers situation and needs.

This is a 35 hour per week role with a fully flexible shift pattern rotational between Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm.

Pay Grade £11.84


The successful candidate will receive full training, 33 holidays per year on a pro rata basis and exposure to the working dynamics of a leading financial services organisation which can offer many other career opportunities.

Due to the nature of this role, you'll be required to pass a credit check and will need to be able to provide us with written proof of your work activity from the past two years.
