Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers, is looking for a Technical Assistant to support the Project Portfolio Manager on-site at their Nuclear Power Station near Bridgwater.

Vacancy Overview

You will be flexible and versatile with administration and office duties and have the ability and experience to manage and mentor others in the department in the clerical field. The successful applicant should have a good understanding and working knowledge of software packages, in particular, Microsoft office and presentation packages. The role requires a person who is self motivated and well organised to support the business and drive improvement within the department. Part of the role will be to directly support the Business Manager and provide monthly updates and reports.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Experienced clerical supervisor/administrator who is flexible to take on the challenges of a changing business.
  • Flexible approach with a will to succeed.
  • Clerical experience in a senior or developing role.
  • Clerical qualifications desirable and a good level of GCSE qualifications in relevant subjects.

If successful, you will be employed by Manpower working on a temporary assignment at our client's site and will need to undergo BPSS checks as well as a drug & alcohol test.
