Our client is a hugely experienced high-end landscaping company based in Newmarket who have worked across all disciplines of hard and soft landscaping since the business started almost 20 years ago. Adding value to properties and a true understanding of the importance of great outdoor space, the company have gone from strength to strength despite the pandemic. Our client seeks an experienced Accounts and Purchasing Administrator to join the team in Newmarket.
They require a proactive and committed Accounts and Purchasing Administrator who has a strong knowledge in accounts and purchasing with a proven track record. The successful candidate will need to display strong IT skills as well as the ability to multitask effectively. Fantastic communication skills (written and verbal), precise organisation and flexibility are all essential to success in this position. Being proactive to problems and an ability to think on your feet are also required skills for this role.
General duties of Accounts and Purchasing Administrator:
- Paying invoices
- Managing QuickBooks and HubDoc
- Inputting payroll
- Purchasing materials from Surveyor information
- Allocating materials
- Receiving time-sheets and submitting CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
- Managing client's accounts
- VAT submission
Requirements for the Accounts and Purchasing Administrator are:
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Proven experience in similar role
- Valid driving licence
- Well organised and able to prioritise work
- Experience in QuickBooks
- Landscape and/or groundworks knowledge desired but not essential
