HGV1 Drivers- Nights

Fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 HGV Driver. Our client is a busy and successful Logistics and Transport company based in County Durham in the North East of England. They are a family run business and invest in the employees. There is a choice of shift pattern both Day and Night drivers.

Main duties and responsibilities will include: -

• Day Shift - Pallet Multi drop using pallet truck with lifting tail end. Previous experience of this is desirable along with good geographical knowledge of the North East region. Effective time management is essential to this role.
• Night Shift - Trunking role using double decker trailers. Previous experience of this is desirable. Shift patterns range between 1430 - 1930 start times Monday - Friday.

Essential requirements for the roles are: -

• Have held a full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement for a minimum of 12 months.
• Have no more than 3 points active at the time of application for this role.
• Have a current Driver CPC Card
• Have a UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have good communication skills and excellent customer-facing skills.

• Night shift salary is £31,012
