Group Used Car Buyer

Halliwell Jones Chester are looking for a Group Used Car Buyer.

Your role

You will be responsible for negotiating used car purchase prices and bidding on stock at auctions, whilst building relationships with other dealer groups, leasing and disposal companies to ensure used stock is always readily available. You will source specific vehicles for customer requirements and assist in valuations of customer offered vehicles and P/X's, whilst ensuring vehicles are accurately valued, provided full appraisals and given thorough provenance checks.

Responsible for achieving agreed monthly profit targets and vehicle PPU objectives, you will ensure that all stock requirements are met, whilst building relationships with other dealer groups, leasing and disposal companies to ensure used stock is always readily available.

Your profile

You will have proven experience working in a used car sales environment as well as an ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. With excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills and a strong attention to detail, you will work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. You will have the ability to keep up-to-date with complex information, whilst assisting colleagues through the sharing of experience and knowledge in all aspects of the job.
