My client is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician with good electrical, mechanical and troubleshooting experience to join the team here in Dublin. This is a full time, permanent position.

Hours: Mon - Fri, 8.00am - 4.30pm

Reports to: Team Manager

Job Overview:
*Provide ongoing electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment including instrumentation, conveyors and other production equipment and machinery.
*Operate equipment from computerised control station and repair/fix any hold ups or breakdowns as they occur.
*Provide ongoing preventative maintenance according to schedules.
*Work with Manufacturing Excellence tools and techniques, for example, 5 Whys, RCA, RCM, 5S, and any new techniques that emerge to improve safety, efficiency and quality.
*Accurately complete documentation as required.
*Review, develop and revise all maintenance plans, SOPs, BOM's and the like.
*Accurately record activity in SAP and actively use the SAP system to support all maintenance activities.
*Work well on your own, work on your own initiative and as part of the team.

Your Experience:
*Be a time served Electrician with QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent.
*Have a high level of diagnostic and problem solving skills in a production environment, ideally a high volume maintenance environment.
*Have some knowledge of mechanical & electrical process plant and associated maintenance activities.
*3 - 4 years' experience in a high volume, complex manufacturing environment.
*Have some familiarity with SCADA process control systems for production and fault diagnosis, or the likes.
*Have worked with information systems such as SAP, MES, Emails, Microsoft Office etc.
*Have a very good knowledge and experience of all H&S statutory requirements and responsibilities.
