This fantastic opportunity has arisen for a field service engineer to join a national service provider who is currently experiencing exponential growth across the whole of the UK. This company offers a clear and concise career plan, including progression and ongoing training.

Job description and skills required for the job role - Field Service Engineer

  • Visiting customer sites to fault find, repair, and maintain commercial laundry or catering equipment.
    • Proactively work towards the growth of the company by identifying and submitting engineer leads for upgrades and other potential sales business
    • Complete and provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required, including reporting your arrival and departure from each call and obtaining customer signature where required
    • Drive the implementation of engineering best practice processes, procedures and tools that maximise effectiveness and efficiency
    • Manage tooling and van stocks as well as job part orders appropriately by receipting, consuming, or returning for each job
    • A commercial gas certificate would be advantageous for the position but isn't essential for every location.
    • Full valid driving licence
