Tail Lift Fitter

Our client are a leading provider engineering services to the transport industry

We are recruiting a Tail Lift Fitter who will carry out installation and fitting of tail lifts to customer vehicles such as Vans, Trucks and Trailers.

The company are an official distributor and installer of a leading brand of tail lift equipment. Variety of mobile on-site installations and workshop duties.

Training is provided however the role requires mechanical fitting experience with some ability in welding/ fabrication.

Experience in hydraulics is desirable but not essential.

The Role:

• Installation and fitting of tail lifts to Vans, Trucks and Trailers
• Ensure equipment is fitted correctly and to the highest possible standard
• Support with any bespoke engineering solutions
• Use tools safely and work in a team effectively
• Provide an excellent service when on site with customers
• Accurately complete any paperwork required

What we are looking for:

• Mechanical fitting experience within engineering or commercial vehicle environment
• Excellent mechanical knowledge and assembly of parts
• Welding/ Fabrication ability
• Preferably experience on hydraulics
• Full driving license required and flexibility to work mobile on customer sites
• Able to use tools safely and provide a high standard of work
