Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an On-Site Recruitment Contract Manager to join the global Recruitment Agency Manpower on our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Walls, Ben & Jerrys, l & Magnum. The role will be based on site at the prestigious Walls site in Gloucester. This is a temporary role for 12 months with strong possibility of going permanent. The position is Monday-Friday working 37.5 hours per week between 0700 - 1900 worked with the team paying between £30 -35K plus bonuses.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking the next step in their career and would be ideally be suited to those who are currently working in a client relationship role, either at senior consultant or manager with experience of working within the Manufacturing environment.
Accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Develop an exceptional relationship with senior stakeholders within the client.
- Deliver a professional service to the clients and ensure trust and respect is built and maintained.
- Develop an understanding of the client business and anticipate challenges and offer continuous improvement options to overcome them.
- Partner with our client's internal teams to support and fulfil interim vacancies within agreed timescales for both blue collar roles.
- Allocation of shifts and work plans from within a pool of existing and new interim staff.
- Direct liaison with hiring managers and throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Utilise knowledge to meet service level agreements.
- Management of job adverts, job postings and candidate application management
- Onboarding of new interim staff.
- Labour Planning / Reactive to daily requests & coordinating with labour planner
- Processing weekly orders & flagging any issues
- Absence Management
- Align absence management with policy
- Transparency when triggers are met and on steps being taken
- Complete RTW procedures and communicate pertinent information to line managers and shift leaders
- Process short-term absence and arrange cover where possible
- Performance Management / Work with area leaders & shift leaders to understand performance levels & manage staff where issues are raised
- Investigations & Disciplinaries
- Complete investigations promptly and ensure coordination with client on gathering relevant evidence
- Coordinate approach with client on cross-company investigations & disciplinaries
- Transparency on disciplinary outcomes with client and clarity on key messages delivered on improvement
- Recruitment & Leavers
- Arrange inductions and coordinate the activities on site
- Regular communication on the size of the pool (both active and dormant) and prompt communication when this changes either through joiners or leavers
- Prepare weekly metrics / scorecard for a discussion with myself on where we need support from one another
Key Skills
- Experience working in a client relationship role within recruitment, internal/in house recruitment in Logistics and Production.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Competent user in Microsoft word, Outlook & Excel.
- Ability to pick up new systems easily, accustomed to working digitally using different systems
- Strong organisational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
