Branch Assistant / Sales Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen in London (NW9) for a Branch Assistant to join our leading global wholesale distributor client. This is a temporary, full time role paying £12.82 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week to start ASAP on a temporary contract for 6 months. With the possibility of this going permanent to the right candidate.
**Drug Screening, DBS and Criminal check will be conducted on all successful candidates**
Purpose of the Job
- To assist and support the Branch Manager in achieving branch sales & profit targets at all times.
- Support with the Management of all day to day Branch Operations
- Support with the management of branch inventory, shrinkage, cash/credit control
- Deliver an excellent customer experience, maintaining strong effective relationships with customer base & supply partners.
- Support with all branch audits
- Support business plans/strategy for the branch to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
- Support all marketing activities in line with business strategy
- Working effectively with key strategic vendors and customers to promote growth and development strong key partnerships.
- Support achieving & delivery of Branch KPI's to identify new ways to innovate and drive growth
- Support branch Health and Safety
Key Requirements:
- Proven professional experience in same or similar position (sales, customer service. administration branch), ideally from B2B product distribution background (Trade, electronics, security products)
- PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, knowledge of SAP (desirable)
- Strong experience in working in a team environment, determined and result driven mindset, ability to solve problems on the spot
Ability to manage stakeholders and relationships, strategic thinking

- Ability to communicate clearly & concisely in both verbal & written format with colleagues and customers
- Ability to establish relationships very quickly at all levels across a diverse organization/client group
- Organizational
- Strong personal organizational skills coupled with the ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously

- Product knowledge
- Have a good knowledge of the Company's key products or the ability to acquire such knowledge within a reasonable period of time
- Computer literate
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (excel, word, outlook, SAP) and in-house Company systems or the ability to acquire such skills within a reasonable period of time
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years experience in security distribution or similar role
- Proven track record/good understanding of sales, profit & margins
