About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Career Clerk.

You'll undertake an administrative support function on a fixed term contract ending 17 May 2022 in the Careers Section which manages the appraisals, promotions and further service roles for RAF personnel at Cosford. On-the-job training will be provided.

Main Tasks:

  • Raising Officers Joint Appraisal Reports (OJAR) and Servicemen Joint Appraisal Reports (SJAR) and Phase 2 Training Course Reports
  • Rectifying issues that have been highlighted in respect of OJAR/SJAR's
  • Carrying out hastening action in respect of OJAR/SJAR's.
  • Maintain all registers in respect of OJAR/SJAR's.
  • Carrying out administration of the appraisal workshop bookings, documentation associated with the workshop, training aides and booking of venue.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need previous experience in an administrative role, ECDL or a strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Defence Information Management Passport and GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
