Graduate Media Developer (Web)

Purpose of role
To deliver high quality training support (media development) in line with Company standards and contractual requirements:

Media Developers are required to:
Support the Deputy Manager (FTU), ensure that media produced by the FTU is of the required standard, continually improve the way they contribute to the business, ensure that they are best equipped to support future change, ensure that they work in an effective collaborative manner with MoD staff, displaying the appropriate behaviours at all times and be responsible for the adherence of Babcock policies and procedures within the FTU

Main tasks:
You will produce interactive media for FTU courses in accordance with Courseware / Media production process, Development manual and FTU Style Guide. Interactive media will be developed in Unity using 3D assets provided by the 3D developers. You will be responsible for building the interactive functionality for our e-learning courses.

You will also ensure compliance with MoD regulations and procedures including DSAT and JSP 822, adhering to Babcock policies and procedures within the FTU. You will ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times

Required skills, experience and qualifications

You will require a degree level qualification or demonstrable track record in media design and delivery along with a good understanding of Unity, good understanding of C#, experience in developing interactive training (e-learning, multimedia), understanding of responsive design and UI / UX design, an overall understanding of HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript / WebGL, experience with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator, recent experience in training design and development and knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures.
