Role Profile
Wincanton are looking for Class 1 HIAB drivers who has a passion for customer service to join our team in Cardiff carrying out a mixture of deliveries for our construction supply chain, following socially distanced conditions in line with government guidelines regarding Covid-19.

* £31,642 per annum basic salary with potential earnings of up to £38,167 per annum (based on shift pattern of 4 nights out per week and meal allowance).
* £12.17 per hour
* Monday to Friday
* 4 nights out per week required
* Average 2 deliveries and collection per day
* 50 hours per week
* Overtime paid at basic hourly rate
* £5 per day - meal allowance
* £30 per night out
* Up to £50 per week - potential driving performance bonus
* Up to £100 per week - potential earnings bonus
* ALLMI accredited preferred however not essential - training will be provided

Delivering bulk items to construction sites across the UK driving a Class 1 vehicle with a HIAB remote control crane.

Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers' products
* Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times
* You will be responsible for delivering Construction Materials from point of manufacture to the end user - this could be a variety of products including bricks, blocks and roof tiles
* Full compliance with all relevant legislation

Experience and Qualifications
* Must hold a valid Class 1 licence
* Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Must hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
* Must not have more than 6 points on your licence
* Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
* Have a positive, flexible attitude to work
* ALLMI accredited preferred however not essential - training will be provided
* Experience in HIAB Crane off-load preferred however not essential - training will be provided
* Good timekeeper, with the ability to work unsupervised
