12 months Temporary, Full time
£9.61 p/h

40 hours per week (Monday - Friday: 7am - 3.30pm, 30 mins lunch)

Our client, a leading manufacturer of technical mortars and high-performance coatings, specialising in concrete repair and protection products, have an excellent opportunity for a Production Operator to join their site in Leyland.

The Production Operator will be preparing batches of raw materials, loading, filling and following production Batch/Packing Cards. The role involves the safe running of mixers to achieve the quality of product which meets specification requirements.

You will be expected to operate to the manufacturing schedule and plan the next tasks in advance whilst co-ordinating with the team to ensure that manufacturing assets are serviced and run to planned utilisation.

The Production Operator will need to be a team player with a proactive attitude and have the initiative to work on his/her own. You will need to carry out requested maintenance activities and to plan and work with the cell team leader and maintenance to resolve losses at root cause.

To be suitable for this position you must be computer literate and have strong communication skills. Previous experience of working in manufacturing or process industry is desirable. FLT training is available, and a FLT counterbalance licence would be advantageous.
