Maximise transport planning efficiency's across the network
Ensure that vehicle utilisation is maximised for the customer base, to make the fleet as efficient as possible reducing mileage and increasing the effective volume that any particular vehicle can deliver each day.
Close liaison with the Customer service team to ensure that customers know delivery information and times, and that any special instructions are passed onto the transport team.
Resolve problems relating to transport planning issues
Manage projects to improve efficiency
Work with all teams across the site
Attend service and routing reviews to provide KPI Reports
Identify and develop opportunities and initiatives to provide cost savings in addition to budgeted targets.
Support change process
Responsible to determine primary peak planning resource, leading logistics requirement definition for seasonal changes.
Ensure the accurate upkeep of data within business-critical systems.
