We are recruiting for a Shipping & Purchasing Administrator for our client, a leading textile manufacturer based in Mirfield. This is for a 9 month contract but could be extended after that time.
Your role will involve dealing with suppliers and carriers for air, road and sea. You will be tasked with helping the company resolve a backlog and so organisational skills will be key! You will require strong Excel skills and ideally have knowledge of bills of loading, customs invoices and import documentation. Your role will also involve tracking shipments, managing commodity codes and reviewing reports.
In return you will receive a competitive salary and 33 days holiday pro-rata. Commutable from Huddersfield, Wakefield and Leeds. You will be a key member of the team and working hours will be 8.30 - 5pm with a 3.45 finish on a Friday, just in time for the weekend!
