Migration Engineer (SC / DV Cleared)

Manpower are recruiting for an experienced Migration Engineer to join the team in Newcastle. Due to the nature of this role all applicants must hold a minimum of SC security clearance and willing to undergo DV, or already hold DV clearance.

As an integral part of one of the largest migration projects in Europe, you will be responsible for providing 2nd Line Support to the end user in both the lead up to and post migration.

Responsibilities:

• Drive process improvement and streamline activities
• Ensure all migration workstreams, key stakeholders and external vendors complete their relevant tasks prior to migrations questioning and discrepancies
• Escalate and manage the evening migration given any external outages or factors impacting migrations
• Maintain audit trails of all migration events, providing logs and evidence for reporting purposes

You should be a self-motivated, logical thinker with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You should be approachable and able to drive teams to complete work on time.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Active Directory, MS Exchange, Network Migrations, DHCP, DNS and SSCM.
