Bus Driver

A fantastic opportunity to work for a huge local company as a Bus Driver and see the beautiful seaside town of Bournemouth every day! You will be working closely with customers, so customer service experience is essential. As a Bus Driver in Bournemouth, you will be responsible for carrying out checks on your vehicle and driving safely, therefore, previous bus/coaching experience is great. either gained in a previous role, or, a paid training programme is available in the companies very own academy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong communication skills and provide great customer service.
• Responsible for cash-flow, ticket selling and handing in revenue at the end of the day.
• Taking responsibility for your safety and the safety of passengers.
• Complying with all health and safety regulations and environmental protection policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, including support to customers with special requirements.
• Reporting any incidents, hazards, or unsafe working conditions to your supervisor

Requirements:

• Understanding of safety and highway code practices.
• A good level of numeracy.
• Attention to detail and a proactive, helpful attitude.
• Full valid PCV license with no more than 3 penalty points on license. (this licence can be obtained through their very own Training School).
• Full driver CPC (this can also be gained through their Training School)
