About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Defence Transport Trainer (DTT).

The purpose of your role is to carry out training and licensing duties within the scope of current Road Traffic Legislation, Road Transport Law and Service Publications.

Main Tasks:
* In the absence of the TL MTT&L the DTT MTT&L is assume the role and responsibilities of the roles in respect of transport training, and licencing, taking responsibility for all MT related matters contained at Reference A.
* Assist the Station Health Environmental Function representative, attending meetings every 6 months if required.
* Training monitoring and administration of white card holders and annual reassessment of their competencies in accordance with the instruction held at Reference B.
* Driver familiarisation training on all vehicles types held.
* Deliver Land Rover familiarisation training iaw GS MOD 1 training package commensurate with the Statement of Requirement.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need to hold the following current and valid Driving Licences:
* Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCV) DVLA Licence Category D
* Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) DVLA Licence Category C+E
* Driver CPC PCV & LGV
* Digital tachograph card, with sound knowledge of Driver's Hours Regulation in accordance with EU Directive 561/2006
* Is able to demonstrate a competency in driver training both theoretical and practical

* The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
