Product Engineer
Location: Hungerford
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience
Hours: 7.30am - 3.30pm
Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of custom engineered products within the compressor industry. They design, produce, and deliver high quality, precision engineered compressor components across several industries including oil refining, Petro-chemical and original equipment manufacturers.
Job description:
As a Product Engineer, you will need to work with and communicate with each department within the business including engineering, sales, and production. You will be required to produce engineering drawings and process customer data. You will be asked to maintain quality standards and records. Epicor/ERM system knowledge would be highly beneficial or use of a similar system as you will be producing production specifications. Ability to use 3D CAD and produce drawings to ISO standards.
The Person:
- Must be independent with proven experience in managing their own workloads.
- High attention to detail and attention to quality is an absolute must.
- Positive and self-driven, with the ability to manage their own workloads.
- You must have aspiration as the company believes in career development.
- There is an element of lone working, and you will be self-motivated.
- Proven experience with handling pressure of workloads during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with Epicor/ERP systems or similar
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- 3D CAD experience
- Experience in designs of precision engineering parts
