Cylinder Driver Class 2

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Cylinder Driver - (ADR or will trained to gain ADR Licence)

Locations: Buckfastleigh

Salary: £27,448

Hours: 45hrs

Annual Leave: 33 days holiday pro rata

Reporting to the site manager, you will be responsible for delivering Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in cylinders to our domestic and commercial Flogas customers. This role will include some weekend working as part of a rostered shift pattern

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Driver qualification card (DCPC)
• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per Operational Procedures
• Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained
• Meet driver performance standards
• Ensure compliance with Drivers hours and Tachograph regulations
• Loading and unloading the vehicle on site in accordance with site procedures
• Make deliveries to customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• Hold a Cat C (HGV Class 2) Licence
• ADR in "Packages" min class 2 (not essential for right candidate training for ADR licence)
• Driver qualification card (DCPC)
• Be committed to provide excellent customer service
• Be reliable, flexible, and hard working
• Be honest and trustworthy
• Have a safe driving record

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health & Safety

• Willing to progress onto other driving disciplines with relevant experience & training i.e. Tankers (ARD Licence)
