UK Data Analyst - Chester

My client based in the Chester area are looking for a UK Data Analyst to start immediately on an 6 month contract. basis.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyse data
- Structure large data sets to find patterns and actionable insights
- Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
- Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
- Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings

Prerequisite Knowledge & Proficiencies

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in Tableau ((must have))
Experience with Machine Learning packages
Some experience in cloud data warehouse technologies like Google Big query or AWS Redshift
Experience with reporting and data visualization skills using software like Tableau or Power BI
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to QA and troubleshoot data
Ability to set and meet deadlines and work in high-pressure situations


Nice to Have:


***The managers agreed to look at candidates with less than 3 years' experience (as long as they have exposure/understanding of Tableu. The level could be from medium to intermediate.

Machine Learning packages, Power BI or Python are nice to have, not essential.**
