Facilities Assistant

We are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant for our valued public sector client. You will undertake housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. All work will be undertaken in line with Health & Safety, COSHH and cleanliness policies and procedures.

You will be required to:


  • Wear PPE (face mask, disposable gloves and aprons)
  • Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the set standards
  • Use cleaning products and chemicals in line with COSSH regulations.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines as stipulated

  • An understanding of the importance of health and safety
  • Be able to commit to working flexible hours / shifts

    Job type - Temporary with opportunity of permanent contract

    Working hours - 37.5 hours per week

    Working pattern - Daily shifts will be 7.5 Hours per day. They can be either early or late shifts depending on the rota and requirements. An early Shift is 07:00-15:00 and a Late Shift is 10:30-18:30.

    You will be required to do alternative weekends and you will work 5 out of 7 days.

    Extra hours are available if you want them.

    Location - Exeter

    Pay - £8.92 for weekdays for the first 12 weeks rising to £9.21 after 12 weeks with enhanced rates for weekends.
