Production Operative

Production Operative (Nights) - Runcorn - Immediate Starts available

Our client based in Runcorn is looking to recruit Production Operatives for immediate starts on an ongoing temporary basis. Based within a busy manufacturing environment in the Runcorn area you will be working as part of a small and busy team.

This is a long-term opportunity for the right person, we are recruiting for the night shift, however the first 2 weeks will be on days to complete the necessary training for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Working on a production line
• Picking items to quality check
• Placing items into correct containers / bays
• General housekeeping / safe workplace guidelines

Hours of work - Monday to Friday - 2200 - 0600 on a 37.5-hour week, however during the first two weeks you will be required to work on the day shifts to carry out the training you require.

The roles are target driven work, quality inspection using your excellent attention to detail and ability to spot defects.

Rate of pay on Nights = £11.14ph

Rate of pay on Days = £10.39ph

Skills required:

• Attention to detail
• Speed and dexterity
• Good standard of Maths and English (you will be required to undertake a basic Maths / English competency test)
• Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
