Group Operations Manager
£55,000 - £60,000 + bonus
£450/500pm car allowance or company car
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Based in Warrington but expected to travel to other sites.
My client is a successful manufacturing company with over 50 years of trading as a Group. There are 3 different sites in the group spread across the North of UK. Due to a re-structure of the business and plans to expand to the next level, they are looking for an experienced Group Operations Manager to lead the way, this is a new role within the company.
The Role:
- Oversee all Warehouse operations across 3 sites, look for ways to improve stock management and develop team/processes
- Drive recruitment across all departments to grow management team and increase productivity/develop training.
- Oversee H&S for the group ensuring processes are maintained
- Manage day to day facilities management for all sites
- Oversee Servicing of all equipment to ensure they are compliant with legal regulations
- Working closely with Production department to assist in ensuring quality control, manufacturing processes are best followed and productively correct.
- Work at Senior Management level implementing the core business strategies
- Oversight of Procurement, assisting where necessary with stock control across sites etc
- Clear management of budgets within each department
The Person
- A solid understanding of lean manufacturing / six sigma / HSE.
- Previous experience implementing new policies and procedures across a medium sized business at Operations Manager level
- Warehouse Stock/Inventory management background is desirable
- Willing to travel across 3 sites on a weekly basis (all based in the North - maximum 2 hours travel time between each site).
