Cylinder Driver C2, ADR

Manpower recruitment is looking for C2 driver with ADR, deliverying cylinders.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the site manager, you will be responsible for delivering Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in cylinders to domestic and commercial customers. This role will include some weekend working as part of a rostered shift pattern.

Accountabilities

- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per Operational Procedures

- Re-fuelling of vehicle

- Deliveries at customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures

- Contracting 45 hours working week - flexible approach as overtime will be required

- Flexible in driving other types of vehicles as required (Rigids)

- Comply with road transport and tachograph regulations

- Meet driver performance standards

- Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained

- Be compliant with the driver's hours and tachograph

- Loading the vehicle on site in accordance with site procedures

- Contribution in developing customer base/reporting competitor activity in the area

- Heavy manual handling required

Job holder requirements

- Hold a Cat C (Class 2) Licence

- Posses and ADR in "Packages" with minimum Class 2 gasses (Tanks advantageous)

- Driver qualification card (DCPC)

- Be committed to provide excellent customer service

- Be reliable, flexible and hard-working (some weekend working)

- Be honest and trustworthy

- Have safe driving record

- Ability to work in a team or on own initiative

- Willing to progress onto other driving disciplines with relevant experience & training i.e. Tankers
