Catering Assistant

You will be responsible for the provision of an effective, safe, hygienic, food service.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Providing menu choices and taking orders
• Food preparation of meals and serving the patients - food regeneration
• Offering tea and coffee to patients and visitors
• Completion of related paperwork
• Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained at all times
• Pot wash

Essential criteria:

• Previous food service experience within a catering environment (training is provided).
• A Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2 is essential, however, we can provide an online course for you to complete.

You will be required to wear PPE at all time, uniform is also provided. Free parking is available with good public transport links.

Temporary - Ongoing

Working pattern - 4 pm to 8 pm, working any 5 days out of 7

Hourly rate - £8.92 per hour with enhanced rates for weekends, rising after 12 weeks

The role is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.
