About the role
Here at Babcock International, specifically Digital Solutions, we're looking for an experienced Solution Analyst to join an expanding team of Architects and Analysts within Babcock's Naval Nuclear division. You will join a tight-knit team working within the wider business but focussed on progressive development and delivery of a long term programme of activity and services. The team are responsible for a range of capabilities and services, covering Enterprise Architecture and Information System specification, deployment and support, with a clear Customer focus.

As a Solution Analyst, within this team is to be part business analyst, part systems analyst supporting both the clarification and agreement of business and Information System requirements and helping to drive through the development and delivery of new software solutions.

Your duties will be diverse and varied, spanning a range from stakeholder engagement, scoping and modelling of the business problem, development of Solution Recommendations, through to oversight and reporting on development and Implementation activities.

What do I need to do the role?

You will need to be an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced (3-5 years) business and systems analyst with a good appreciation of Software Delivery Lifecycles.
An understanding of Supportability Engineering and experience of the UK maritime support enterprise would be an advantage.
Experienced in the application of Business and Systems Analysis and Modelling techniques.
Good stakeholder/ customer engagement and communication skills are important, as well as enthusiasm and drive to make progress within a complex and often challenging enterprise

What else do I need to know?

The successful candidate will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
