We have an exciting 6 Months temporary position available for a Colour Matching Technician to join our clients site in Ashington.

As Colour Matching Technician, your role is to perform colour matching to ensure that recipes are suitable before manufacturing on a plant scale.

What you'll need to do:

• Assist Local Technical Support team with colour matching activities
• Support in external and internal quality audits
• Support in the process to maintain quality certifications (e.g. ISO9001)
• Generates quality information by preparing required reports and maintaining relevant records.
• Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards
• Support the sites continuous improvement initiatives

What we'll need from you:

• A level in mathematics (or equivalent)
• Excellent communications skills and an ability to engage and influence
• Strong numeracy skills
• Proven Problem Solving capabilities
• Attention to detail
• Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Laboratory experience preferred but not essential
