Pay: £10-11.00 per hour

Work hours: 40 hours a week - 14:00-22:30 Monday to Friday

Type: Permanent, full time

Manpower UK are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join a leading fresh produce and confectionery business. This will be a fast-paced role that is ideal for someone who has previous experience of working in a production environment or facility.

The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for food safety practices and to maintain the very high standards of product production and quality.

FLT license would be a huge benefit for this role but training can be provided.

The most important qualities for team is having the right attitude and work ethic.

Responsibilities include:

• Selecting raw materials according to a recipe
• Weighing out raw materials - will include lifting 25kg bags, handling frozen fruits, liquids and powders
• Preparing raw materials for cooking
• Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately
• Assisting in the stores when the raw materials have been picked for the day
• Ensuring compliance with Food Hygiene and Safety rules and standards

Requirements:

• Able to work 2pm-10:30pm Monday to Friday
  Driving license and own transport (this client is accessible via public transport but it is a walk from the station)
• Previous production/food preparation experience would be a benefit
• To be physically fit due to the nature of the work
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organised with a good attention to detail
