Warehouse Operative

My client is a specialist supplier in Laboratory goods. They are looking for a general operative to join there small warehouse team. The role is Monday - Friday 9AM to 5.30PM. There is excellent progression throughout this small sized business. They are looking for a candidate to join the team and grow within the different functions of the business.

Basic Functions

• To act as a responsible representative and always maintain the best interest of the company, its employees, customers and suppliers.
• Completing day to day duties in the warehouse as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor
• Carrying out the warehousing support duties will require a planned and organised approach, which will allow you to make efficient use of your time.
• Goods in/out
• Stock management, rotation and stock takes
• Warehouse & stock cleanliness/presentation.
• Service inventory organisation and service parts organisation
• general house keeping.
• Trade Counter stock control, organisation & operation.
• Liaising with other key departments

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse.
• Strong communication skills.
• Can do attitude.
• Team player
• Attention to detail
