About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Functional Skills Trainer to teach personnel to achieve the qualifications required for an Apprenticeship framework.

Your main responsibilities will include:

What do I need to do the role?

You must have demonstrable experience in an appropriate Functional Skills environment (military experience desirable)

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:

  • Proven record in delivering training
  • Degree or equivalent Level 5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed, DTLLS, PGCE)
  • IQA L4 qualified
  • L2 Maths, English & ICT
  • Maintain currency through recognised/accredited CPD

What else do I need to know?

Whilst the base location is North Yorkshire, you must be able to travel to Leuchars in Scotland and Swanton Morley in Norfolk.
