About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an Operations Centre Manager to join the team.
You will be responsible for Managing the Managed Service Centre within the Emergency Services & Training business stream for the London Fire Brigade. You will ensure 24 hour call centre coverage is planned and programmed to meet the contract requirements, and the staff rota is regularly reviewed ensuring that the holidays are managed and all sickness is managed via the company policy.
A key element of your role will be to coach and performance manage the MSC team, ensuring all developmental, training and personnel issues are addressed. You will also ensure 24 hour Mobile Repair Vehicle coverage is in place, and vehicle reserve numbers are managed to fulfil slot requirements.
Further responsibilities will include:
* Design and implement a standardised MSC delivery model, ensuring that all direct reports are capable of servicing contract obligations, and ensuring high quality customer experience
* Management over the delivery and collection driver team with capacity and competency to meet the planned event schedule and reactive workload
* Management of planned events in line with asset compliancy requirements

What do I need to do the role?
You will have previous experience managing in-bound and outsourced customer service driven call centres/managed service centres / Operational control rooms.
You will also have experience within a Logistics/Transport environment.
