6 - 12 months Temporary, Full time

£11.82 per hour

Hours: 37.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Our client, a leading paint manufacturer, have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Operator to join their site in Birmingham.

This role provides support to the Logistics function within the Integrated Supply Chain, with primary accountability for receiving raw materials, stock accuracy and the dispatching of finished goods.

The Production Operator will be expected to safely handle and store chemical goods in specified locations ensuring the recording of goods received, as well as finished goods being picked and organised ready for the daily collections and that all movements are accurately logged on the ERP (SAP) system.

You will also need to be a team player with a proactive attitude and also have the initiative to work on his/her own. You will need to support the site culture of functional & operational excellence, continuous improvement, accountability, professionalism and commitment to Company values and behaviours by following Centre of Excellence processes.

To be suitable for this position you must hold a Counterbalance FLT licence, be computer literate and have strong communications skills. Previous experience working with Chemicals is desirable.
