As a Multi Skilled Operator you may be allocated to any area of Production, including, but not limited to Slitting Lines, Perforating, WEMO, Amada, Press Shop, Pad Shop, Assembly, Paint line, Roll form, Carpentry, Cleaning and Special Projects.

You will be required to set up, adjust and monitor machines, as well as producing and testing our finished products. All Operators will work with co-workers, supervisors, engineers and managers to ensure that the results of their activities meet the standards and the expectations of the customers.



Main duties:


  • To conduct all daily activities in line with the quality standards and within the scope of relevant ISO procedures.
  • To be able to carry out daily maintenance functions, related to the equipment currently in use. This involves ensuring all machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.
  • Ensuring allocated machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, well-maintained and periodic checks are performed on their output.
  • Reviewing the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production.
  • To maintain good housekeeping standards at all times following the 5S Criteria.
  • To obtain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforcing its use in the wearing of ceramic or textile overalls, respiratory protection, gloves and anti-static safety boots.
  • To work within the company management system, processes and procedures, to ensure compliance with all standards, legislation, governance and specifications.
  • To ensure the quality, environmental, health and safety policies are understood and where required the objectives, targets and key performance indicators are measured, evaluated and reported to demonstrate continuous improvement of the management system.
  • To undertake any reasonable request from Directors, Managers, Supervisors and other members of staff.

  • As a multi skilled operator you will have the opportunity to develop your skills further as training will be provided for you to develop into a welding role.



    Essential criteria:

    • Previous experience of working within a production / manufacturing setting
    • Material handling experience
    • Good numeracy and literacy skills
    • Previous experience of using hand tools and equipment

    Job type - Temporary

    Duration - Ongoing

    You must be able to commit to flexible working following the set shift pattern:

    • Days are 7.30am to 4.00 pm, with a 3.00 pm finish on a Friday.
    • Mornings are 6.00 am - 2.00 pm.
    • Afternoons are 2.00 pm-10.00 pm.
