My Client is a manufacturer & preferred supplier of waterproofing solutions for the roofing industry & are launching a brand new & super innovative roofing system to run alongside their existing products. In order to mark the success within their field & further advancement of their industry leading GRP Roofing System, they have acquired a promotional vehicle (monster truck type) that will be taken up & down the country on roadshows to deliver presentations & demonstrations to trades people, trades fairs & operational sites .
As the new products are about to launch, I am now looking to engage with trade professionals who want to move away from the norm. You will need a HGV 2 license to drive the promo truck & as Technical Demonstrator - you will support customers in learning the applications processes & tools to successfully use the GRP systems & associated told & materials (extensive training given in the product).
What does your role as GRP Roadshow Demonstrator (roofing) look like?
As a GRP Technical Demonstrator, you will be a key part in the sales process, presenting potential Customers/Sales Outlets with your knowledge on range of advanced roofing systems that my Client have created, plus all associated materials & tools. You will deliver a comprehensive overview of the product application process & its capabilities, with product demonstrations and practical training to the highest standards in depots and outlets around the UK (ideally based not too far from their Wigan H/O for storage of the vehicle when not in use).
** You will also be responsible for merchandising across outlets & your attendance at Trade Fairs & industry exhibitions to promote the merchandise will be an exciting way of delivery.
** Some overnight stays will be necessary, for which you will receive full financial support.
** A branded promotional demonstration vehicle will be provided; therefore, a current clean driving license (Class 2 ) is a must. This can be kept at home or left at the Head Office site.
What do you need to be successful in the role?
- You are articulate, knowledgeable of construction industry processes,
- have great communications skills,
- are well presented and self-motivated.
- You already have a practical/accredited background in a construction related trade (roofing, joinery, carpentry, multi trades, groundworker) & are wanting something different, not moving from site to site in the cold or waiting for your next contract.
You will have a good understanding of written and spoken English and be comfortable using a computer & utilising Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
The hours will be as required & travel will be identified based on new & existing Customer requirement & you will manage your diary yourself according to the needs of the Customers.
What will you receive in return?
£32k, plus added bonus based on business success.
