Forecourt Services Engineer Tank Cleaning Water Jet

Locations: Brize Norton - Oxfordshire

Salary: Up to £30,000 with overtime and benefits

Hours: Mon - Fri (6am-5pm). Working week 50hrs degree of flexibility required (overnight stay all paid for)

Annual Leave: 21 days

The Company is now seeking to appoint individuals possessing particular experience and knowledge in tank lining/cleaning & Confined Space work to join their Forecourt Services team in the role of Forecourt Services Engineer operating predominantly in the Oxfordshire region but with the possibility of deployment anywhere in the UK.

The Role

The Forecourt Services Engineer will be required to operate as part of a team, working alongside other Technicians, fulfilling works for major oil companies & independent customers. The post holder will be required to contribute to the operation of numerous departments within the division.

A key focus of the role will be tank lining, tank cleaning, tank testing, specialist tank maintenance, drainage with particular emphasis on Confined Space work which will be a regular element of deployment.

The post holder will be required to identifying root causes of problems and provide customers with long term solution. The duties of this post include a high degree of manual work.

Successful applicants will be required to operate any Company vehicle for which they are suitably qualified to undertake. All operation of Company vehicles must be undertaken in a safe manner and fully compliant with all relative law and legislation.

Key tasks and responsibilities associated with the role are as follows:

Operating independently, or as part of team to perform and deliver service to all customers of the Company. This will include for example, confined space tank and line cleaning, Tank testing, drainage, VR testing and tank dewatering. This is not an exhaustive list. Onsite training will be provided.

Respond and react to call outs for critical issues.
