Production Operative - Stoke

I am actively recruiting several Production Operatives for my Stoke based client to join there busy electrical manufacturing department.

This role is working for a fantastic national organisation who treat every staff member the same and who make it an enjoyable environment to work in, the role is based in their Stoke site, however you may get the chance to visit other facilities for training purposes.

The Role

You will be working within a close-knit organisation as part of a busy production department where you will be involved in the manufacturing, testing and inspection of electromechanical assemblies to a high standard, no product is the same so you will be constantly learning in the role, and you will be working on some extremely interesting products.

You will be tasked with building a variety of products based on the specifications provided by each client, you will be working on a variety of tasks, ranging from Soldering and Terminating wires, through to building complete wiring looms for customers ranging from the NHS through to well-known Motorsport teams, you will be required to problem solve on a product-by-product basis, this will require you to diagnose and rectify faults in a timely and safe manner, you will be required to work to deadlines so the ability to work in a bustling fast paced environment is a must.

This role can offer a Permanent contract to the right individuals, the business is going through a period of change so opportunities will be presented for the people who want them.

The Person

• Great attention to detail
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
• Ability to work to targets
• Flexible as some travel and overnight stays may be required for training purposes

The Hours

Monday to Thursday - 0800 - 1700 & Friday - 0800 - 1300
